Talk about lack of compliance with smoking ban

Minister Ab Klink (Public Health) consult Wednesday with Royal Horeca Netherlands branch on the poor enforcement of the smoking ban that applies since July 1. A spokesperson for Klink confirmed this Monday.

It seems that banning smoking less and less observed by mainly small outlet. "We discuss how we should handle it," said the spokeswoman.

Ignoring the smoking ban as an oil slick threatens to expand. Cafe owners in Den Bosch this week are from smoking in their case.

KHN has no precise figures on the number of entrepreneurs that the ashtray on the table sets, but "we see that it is expanding," said a spokesman Monday.

KHN said Friday that the smoking ban a "chaos" has caused in the small cafes. The trade association wants the smoking ban is maintained or otherwise trash the beginning. The organization provides emergency clock. The introduction of the smoking ban would be disproportionate to the implementation implications for especially small catering business lead.
